Lyric brought her toy fox outside on her walk today. She loves that thing. I think she thinks she killed it herself. She’s already worn out bother squeekers in it, haha.

So, I have been hinting a little on twitter that something big was happening in my life…well, here it is! I got a puppy! I’m in Colorado at my grandma’s right now and just picked her up today! Her name is Lyric, she’s a white Golden Retriever and she’s 9 weeks old.
So, this blog will pretty much be a puppy blog from now on, haha.

I’ve started this entry so many times, and I can never seem to find the right words, so I’ll just skip to the main point. You may (or may not) have noticed that I’m not at Olin this semester. I’m on medical leave from Olin this semester and right now, I’m not sure when (or if) I will be back. I’m not on my deathbed but my doctor advised me to take time off. I know some people know about this already, but a few people have asked me what’s up, so, yeah, that’s what’s up.
I’m just convalescing at home, taking care of my horse and spending time with my family. I’m trying to do the things I love again and get out of the rut that I seem to have fallen into.
This also means I’ll have more time to write and send mail, so if anyone wants some, send me your Olin mailbox number or whatever address you’re at!
