Right now I’m in the second layover on my journey, this one in Abu Dhabi. It’s not nearly as long as the layover at JFK, It’s a pretty cool airport and the terminal I’m in has a very pretty mosaic ceiling. I’ve been awake for so long but in only 5 or 6 more hours I will finally be in India!
Right now, I’m sitting in JFK International Airport waiting for my next flight that will take me 12 hours close to India for the Affordable Design and Entrepreneurship trip. I moved out of Olin on Friday for the last time and I’ve been sleeping pretty much non-stop until today.
I had to go to Logan Airport really early this morning for my mom to catch her flight back to California even though my flight wasn’t until 3, so I spent pretty much all day hanging out at that airport. The flight was only about 30 minutes long to New York and my flight here isn’t until after 9 and then I have another layover before I even get to India.
But after India, I’ll be going to Nepal and then meeting up with Asali to travel around Europe for a month before moving back to San Francisco and starting my life and my awesome job. I have a feeling I’ll want to document some of the adventures I have in the next few months, so stay tuned!
I realize I haven’t been posting on here recently, and I really should so I can read this later. So much has been happening! Last summer I worked as an intern at Instructables which was awesome. I lived in San Francisco with friends from school and it was awesome. I am also happy to report that I will be working there after graduation! It’s pretty much my dream job and I’m super excited to be joining the community management team there!
Right now, I’m just finishing up my last semester at school with a very heavy course load. I’ll be going to India in December to finish the Affordable Design and Entrepreneurship project I have been working on, then going to Nepal and Europe for a month before I settle down and start work.
I finally feel like things are coming together for me.
So, I have been hinting a little on twitter that something big was happening in my life…well, here it is! I got a puppy! I’m in Colorado at my grandma’s right now and just picked her up today! Her name is Lyric, she’s a white Golden Retriever and she’s 9 weeks old.
So, this blog will pretty much be a puppy blog from now on, haha.
